- Special note: if you are using the wick in a non-firefly oil lamp, please call the manufacturer of your oil lamp to determine the correct replacement wick size. the material is cotton. 3.6mm = .14 of an inch. they are intended for oil candles and oil lamps. the cotton replacement wicks are not intended for tiki torches or wine bottles which require a larger wick.
