The use of topical self-drying silicone gel in the treatment of Scars and Keloids is a new treatment method perceived as an alternative to the use of silicone gel sheeting. Some patients with scars of different types, hypertrophic scars, and keloids were treated using silicon gel application. The outcomes obtained from the analysis of the use of the self-drying silicone gel appear to be satisfactory. However, more trials are still in progress so that a conclusive decision is reached
